DHCP Splash Page

Been looking around, but cant seem to find any tutorials/howtos...
Anyone know of a good guide for forcing a user on DHCP to view a webpage the first time they go to use port 80?

I know the colleges I've been to have them, but I've never looked into how they work. I'd like to learn how...

anyone?

Actually, those have nothing to do with DHCP. Generally, they use transparent proxying to achieve this.

Fair enough, might be the reason I never found any info while looking for DHCP stuff =P

Anyone have links to guides/etc?
