DHCP server with multiple IP addressing

Hello everyone,

Considering budget constraints, is it possible for a DHCP server to have multiple IP addresses on its two given Ethernet interfaces to hand over different pools of IP addresses or subnets for a wireless facility?

Or is it really recommended to have multiple Ethernet interfaces for a DHCP server for such setup?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Short answer yes. For details, see http://www.linuxhomenetworking.com/w..._Multiple_NICs and many other places on the internet.
