DHCP server and client

I have been reading about dhcpd cause now i have 3 computers and one, evidently, cannot get a connection information. So, to make the story short, i have been learning about the etc/dhcpd.conf file and the leases file. But, apparently, i have no dhcpd service, at least the server i know i don't have. Where can i get it?

And also, i searched linuxquestions for stuff about dhcp and nothing showed up. Can someone enligthen me as to where to look? As you can see ;) i am not asking how to do it, i am just asking about info to read and learn how to do it.

Thanks for all the help in advanced.

You have the conf file but not the binary? Have you checked your installed list of rpms? Have you checked /usr/local/sbin? Have you tried using chkconfig and service? If all those point to no, then you can get it from isc: ftp://ftp.isc.org/isc/dhcp/

I think i might as well download it and install it, i don't see anything like it anywhere. Thanks for the help, i'll post anything else if i can't solve the problems that will arise.
