DHCP Problems
 
I have my box with SUSE 9.1, i try to configure a DHCP server but an error appears

" Multiple interface match the same subnet : eth0 eth1".


My system have 2 Interfaces, I set only one Interface, but the system doesn't work

If your trying to configure the DHCP Server to provide IP's to seperate networks all Interfaces need to have there own subnet.

If you only want to use one interface go to YaST and under DCHP Server go to interface an remove eth1 or eth0 (whichever you desire).

Ok.. I remove the other NIC with Yast and my DHCP serv works...

You didnt have to remove the NIC but , I guess thats the easy way out/.
