Question DHCP is using 2 random ports ?!?!

Hi!

They say it's already fixed but i'm having this problem:
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/fo...er/172173.html

How can i fix and make dhcp only use port 67/68?

Thank you in advance.

What version of ubuntu are you using? If you upgrade to ubuntu 16.04 than this seems to be fixed. Which means the(dhclient only listens on port 68).

I do not think you need to install it manually, package isc-dhcp should already installed. 16.10 is not a long term supported only 16.04 is if you did not know.

We can check the current version installed. Use the following command below post back the output please.

dpkg -s isc-dhcp
