DHCP file is not available

Hi,

This is very simple problem.

I have checked "rpm -qa dhc*" command to see whether DHCP is installed or not and find that DHCP is installed.

But, there is not file in /etc/ directory named "dhcpd". I can't able to edit the file because it is not available in /etc/ directory.

Can someone please tell me what should i do

With Warm Regards
Wadhwa, Gaurav

seeing as you run redhat, did you look in /etc/sysconfig?
...hmmm... after a brief google, redhat does seem to use /etc/dhcpd.conf ... just what goes into their /etc/sysconfig folder, anyways?

There is a sample dhcpd.conf I can't remember the exact location but /usr/share/docs/dhc..... is not far of the mark. Edit this file and save as /etc/dhcpd.conf
I'm not at my linux box at the mo so I'm sorry can't be of more help!
