dhcp configuration command

folks, i need a command to show me the configuration (IP, DNS, GW) that was given to a dhcp client by the dhcp server.

There is a command to get this config?

'ifconfig' doesn show DNS right? neither 'route' do it right?

thanx

Hello bro,

DNS nameserver can be looked at /etc/resolv.conf.

IP can be look using ifconfig / ip addr

GW can be seen through route -n command.

Well, i know, all user want a single command to show this info, u can create a script for that, its really simple.

just an idea, hope helps.
