dhclient and 2.4.23

Hi all,

I have a problem on my webserver, yesterday i rebuilt my it using debian 3.0, followed by a kernel upgrage to 2.4.23

now the problem is this when booting to the old kernel (2.2.20) everything is fine and dhclient runs on boot, however if i switch to 2.2.23 dhclient does not load on boot, but i can load it manually after boot.

the main reason for upgrade is to enable smp as this machine is supposed to be dual proccessor but im not sure and i dont fancy opening it as i want this new kernel anyway.

if more info is required just ask.

thanks In advance Townfool
