default route has to be set evey reboot?
Hi all,
I seem to be loosing my default route to my router each time I reboot.
I am using FC4 on my Alienware laptop.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

you could edit /etc/network/interfaces to make it permanant
here is mine:

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.2
netmask 255.255.255.0
broadcast 192.168.1.255
gateway 192.168.1.1

Fedora doesn't have the debian scripts..
Depending on how you boot the interfaces, dhcp or statically, the file location changes.

I've had the same problem for over a month. Just started after running FC4 for about 4 months.
(see: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=372982). I also had this problem with my FC3 install back in the spring.
I've asked the question a few times with no suggestions so keep me posted if you find an answer.
