Debian Domain Controller Problems

When I attempt to connect to my Debian Primary Domain Controller, I get the error:

Unable to login.

I'm trying to login to the domain through a WindowsXP SP2 Machine. Could there be a setting that I dont have right? I made sure that root is a samba user and all that stuff.

Thanks!
