Hard Blocked can also be wireless turned off in bios.

I should have mentioned this earlier, but debian start in dual boot with Windows 7.
No problems with wiwi in Windows 7.
I checked the bios, embedded WLAN Device is enabled.
Maybe I should do a new installation, any suggestions?

When switch is off, it comes in Airplane Mode

My first installation of Debian was done with a powerline adapter. I thought the updates for all components would be also available.
This makes my system did not account for a wireless connection.
My second installation was not connected with the powerline adapter.
By the installation the system ask for the firmware iwlwifi-6000-4.ucode, wich I have already on my usb-stick.
Later on by given in the SSID and the security code, there were no problems more.
All updates came in and everything is working well.

I guess this is hardware specific? It's not like all wireless modules gets unloaded by the off-switch? Anyway, I'm going to have this computer dual boot with Arch, so I guess it'll behave the same way there, I'll notice.
