DDNS service

Has anyone used this: https://www.dynu.com/DynamicDNS/IPUpdateClient/Linux? Is it safe to use/install?

I haven't heard of it personally, but if you're after recommendations on any DDNS services, i would take a look at https://freedns.afraid.org/ which has been around for decades.

To update the DNS, afraid.org gives a simple curl command which you can add to your daily cron scripts;
