DDNS record and a static PTR record
Hello guys!

Is it possible for a client with a pppoe connection and a static IP address, DDNS record of type to have also a static PTR record like

Possible, yes. Likely, no.

The PTR record is set by whomever is in charge of the ARIN record for the network block, which could be anything from a /8 down to possibly a /23 or so. Some ISPs will set up a PTR for you; my current one will not, but 2 ISPs ago did. Call 'em, find out, its up to them to set-up though, its nothing they'll delegate off. The two times I've gotten this setup, they did it for free as well, as a courtesy.

In fact I am the ISP that has to put that PTR record but when the client dials and logs in the DDNS overwrites the static PTR.
