ddclient alternatives ?

In the past I've used ddclient to update my zoneedit dynamic dns. Unfortunately, this seems to be broken at the moment. I've submitted a separate thread related to that problem.

What other alternatives are there to ddclient? I'm particularly interested in something that works with zoneedit.com. I'm aware of:

inadyn
inadyn-mt

Inadyn is available in ubuntu. So far I have not gotten it to work but I have not tried too hard yet either.

If you have experience with any of these or other dynamic dns clients that I have not mentioned please chime in. Again, I would be particularly interested if you have had success with updating zoneedit.com.

Thanks in advance.

It turns out that ddclient is not broken.

The problem was that my testing was flawed. See ddclient fails with uninitialized value when cache file exists for details.

I'm still interested in any alternatives out there but this makes it a less pressing issue for me.

The ddclient seems to be not working now. It says that the link is broken. The ddclient is very helpful in updating the zoneedit dynamic dns. Other options should be checked which can be used with the zoneedit.com. Two examples of available options are inadyn and inadyn-mt. Inadyn is the dynamic dns client in the Called.com Ubuntu . That’s why it is not so famous. Many other options should also be searched apart from these two. The main aim is that the zoneedit.com should be updated easily.
