Angry CVS I get an error when i try to use it, how do i set it up?

Hi all,
I have on numerous times tried to use CVS, but i get the same error message. i am always getting some kind of error. A couple of times it will say it couldn't find a certain directory when i put in the login password. It is looking for the directory on my pc I don't remember what it is exactly but is it is something like this /..../.../.pass.. not very good detail. i know.
