Current network usage


Hi,

How do i see the current network usage?
I'm making a filehosting service, and i must see somehow the current number of downloaders, and maybe the speed they download with.

Any ideea how?

You can see current connections with netstat. There is a tool called iftop which shows the most active current connections. I am sure there are a ton of other tools. I suggest you search on the terms network, monitor, and linux to see what is out there.
