CUPS prints too many copies
 

I have MEPIS 6 running on a desktop with CUPS 1.2.0 and an Epson Stylus 980.

When my wife prints to the Epson from Neo Office on her iBook she gets number of copies squared requested out of the printer.
i.e.
1 requested copy prints 1 copy
2 requested copies prints 4 copies
3 ---> 9
10 ---> Probably 100 but paper runs out first.

This is extremely amoying if we don't catch it and we return to our printer to find a pile of wasted paper and a hungry printer.

Any gueses or leads on this are appriciated...
