cups newbie


running samba 2.2.8 on yellowdog

i can access cups through localhost:631 from a remote browser

but i can't access admin to alter the set up, the browser comes back with permission denied after a long time - can anyone help please

my way assuming you have kde, run kcontrol click on perpherials printers and admin and type in password i think one of tabs has a pulldown for USERS add to whoever you like.

thanks, but i've not got X running and just installed server software. Any idea of how to do it from a commend line?
