CUPS Network Printing

I have a print server, running CUPS. I can print from KDE on every Linux machine, however, I cannot print from any software that doesn't use the KDE print dialogue box. This gets rather annoying. How would I get printing to work for the other applications?

check your lp* links

cd /usr/bin
ls -l lp*

if lpr is not linked to lpr-cups.. then just reinstall cups

upgradepkg --reinstall cups
