Cups Network printing

Hi, i am using cups to set up a network printer. At the moment the printer is working fine and the clients can see the printer. When i go to print nothing happens and when i check local host:631 its not in the queue. Do i need to edit the cupsd.conf on the server or the client.conf on the client or both? If so what needs to be changed? Thanks for any help.
