CUPS IPP and Windows XP (Pro maybe even Home)

Ok. So, I've got a CUPS server and a printer setup. Linux cannot print to this server saddly, but I've got CUPS setup to allow the clients to use thier drivers and such. I want this all to be over IPP because samba at the moment is un reliable for that sorta stuff and doesnt appear to be working at all. Now, I've gotten all the neato CUPS administrative and such things to pop into play here on the XP machine..but for some reason even with the printer there and all..it wont create a job. I hit the 'test print' button on the properties sheet of the printer and it complains that it cant create a job.

/jobs has no permisions settings on it.
And it's definatly viewable from the machine.

Any suggestions? And here is a tail of the cups error log just in case

Have a look much earlier in your log. CUPS seems to have a problem, not create the job and then spend a lot of time successfully doing nothing.

Check for "cannot create .... d00001 file in /var/spool/cups"
or errors about not being able to convert files - with a suggestion about ghostscript.
