cups error: "Network host is busy"

I'm setting up my Linux box as part of a Windows domain. I can login to the domain and access my fileserver, I can access the internet, I can do everything I need except print.

I am using RedHat 9.0 and SAMBA. I use Cups through Print Manager and connect to our standalone network printer at IP Address 192.168.1.245. Everything works great until I try to print anything. The print appears to go smoothly except nothing gets printed. Going into Printer Configuration I see the queue name (Ricoh), default (checked), and description ( Network Host '192.168.1.245 is busy; will retry in 30 seconds. INFO: Connecting to 192.168.1.245 on port 631.)

The printer is not busy, it's just sitting there. If I boot to my WinXP disk, I can print with no trouble.

I can't find any reference to this problem anywhere, and I've looked! Can anyone give me any ideas?

TIA,

Duke
