Creating open vpn clients using server certificates

Hi

I created server & client certificates on my Linux ubuntu machine and unfortunately that Linux machine crashed. I had to load a new OS after formatting the drive. I have a back up of all the server certificates (dh1024, ca.crt, server.crt & server.key). I now want to create new client certificates using existing server certificates.

Can some one out there help me on how to create client certs using existing server certs, if possible?

Apologies if this question does not belong to this thread.

Thanks in advance.

I presume you are using easyrsa for certificate.
Run
./build-key <username>
