Unhappy Create unique wireless to wired bridge in Ubuntu 8.04

This may sound redundant, but its not. I've been trying to figure out how to make a bridge, all the documentation I found was the internet connection comming from the LAN and putting it onto the wireless. My setup is reverse of that, and to make matters worse, I'm still new to Linux... (Ubuntu 8.04) Here is the setup:

Internet connection coming to Linux box from my wireless adapter

I want to repeat its internet connection on another router (D-Link DI-524).

In windows XP I plugged my ethernet into the routers WAN port and bridged the wireless connection and the ethernet connection, (and it worked) the router set up its internet provider as the other AP (linksys WRT54G). Eveything worked fine. I want to duplicate that setup.

Solution found!!!

I finally found a solution after 2 months of doing research, just to help others out, this is where I found what I needed:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Router

My purpose was to connect to a neighbors wireless internet connection, and put it onto my router, basically as a wireless repeater.

My Setup:
Wireless NIC
Wired NIC
D-Link Router (could be any)

Following the above links instructions I was able to automatically connect to the wireless connection without network manager (just static since his router name never changes, and I'm a desktop).

After everything was setup, my D-Link was repeating my neibors wireless connection...

Hope this helps!
