courier-imap and/var/mail
 

I understand that courier-imap only enjoys the company of Maildir directories. How do I force my Mandrake 10.1 server to either (a) store messages brought by fetchmail in a Maildir format in /var/mail or (b) store the same messages in /home/user/Maildir

I think you need to get fetchmail to pipe the messages into procmail which will then put the messages in maildir format.
