Constant stream of "IPv4: martian source" and "FIREWALL:INPUT" after plugging eth0 in

Plugged in my Ethernet cable and suddenly this started to print on my terminal
Code:

IPv4: martian source 255.255.255.255 from 10.**.***.1, on dev eth0

11 header: 00000000: ff ff ff ff ff ff 00 ** ** ** ** ** ** 00.  ........\2'...

Then it changed to this:

Code:

FIREWALL:INPUT IN=eth0 OUT= MAC=ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:00:**:**:**:**:**:**:**:00 SRC=10.**.***.* DST=255.255.255.255 LEN=328 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=64 ID=8868 PRO

TO=UDP SPT=67 DPT=68 LEN=308

I get that it must be that I am plugging into a network that isn't stated in a config file, but I am not sure what config file and what to put to fix it.

Does this continue to happen for a long time? Looks like simple DHCP traffic.
