Connection timeout failures

Greetings:

I am running a system with Fedora 18, and am attempting to use the Tomcat server as my primary web server.

I want my server to use Port 80, and (of course) I am not running it as root. For this reason, I have successfully (I think!) used iptables to open ports 8080 and 80, and am redirecting all traffic from Port 80 to Port 8080.

My problem is that when I attempt to access the site, I get the following failure message:

The connection has timed out

The server at www.factor3webworks.com is taking too long to respond.

Can someone give me some idea of what is happening and how I can fix this?

Works from here.
http://www.factor3webworks.com:8080/

Apache-Coyote/1.1

Try another browser or clear your preferred browser's cache?

Yes, it does work now. Sorry to bug folks...

It turned out that one of my iptables configurations was incorrect. I needed to properly open up Port 8080, and I hadn't. The problem was fixd and now everything works as it should.

Again: sorry to bug everyone...
