connection refused, tcp betwee client and server on different pc on same lan
Hi,
i'm newbie in network programming, i am learning "unix networkprogramming"(W.Richard Stevens), at page 138, it says "If we run the client and server onn different hosts, the signal handler is normally executed two times...", the question is, when i run the server on host A, then run the client on host B, it says "connect error:connection refused". But when i run client/server on same host it works fine. please help me, thanks
two host(suse 9.3 and redhat 8.0) connect to same hub, the hub connects to one router, router connects to adsl modem. i can ping each other.
thanks again
ps: my english is very poor, if there is something i said rude or unpolite, please ...
