connection refused problem
 

when i try to use any service i get

connection refused

message

What things i need to configure.

 

It may mean that service is not running or firewall is not allowing to connect (the second case is less probable, because firewalls usually don't bother in sending "connection refused", just don't send anything).

plese tell it in detail about firewall
 

as i have configured as to start at startup using ntsysv tool

about second thing ie firewall setting tell me file which i shoud see

i think it will be ipchains.conf(or similer as i am sending this mail from windows machine)

but i don't know what is meaning of most of the lines
which line shoud i check ?

i am new to linux networking so plese tell it in detail
