Connecting Windows XP to SUSE SAMBA

I have been trying to connect a Windows XP workstation to a SUSE 9.0 box using SAMBA. I can map a drive "\\192.168.x.x\gwadmin"from the xp box to SUSE but this is all I can see:
.fonts
.kde
.mcop
.gt
.skel
.xemacs
bin
Desktop
Documents
public_html

My SAMB share is /var/docs. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Without seeing your smb.conf file, we could be limited in our ability to help you. This is what I can tell you based on what I see. You're telling Explorer to go to your server's IP address, which will take you to whatever directory you've mounted the share in (presumably /var/docs).

Now, you further dive into the
gwadmin directory. This directory is a directory located within the mount point of your Samba share. So, if you really have set up your Samba share in /var/docs, then it looks like you're just seeing the contents of /var/docs/gwadmin. If you're expecting to see the contents of /var/docs, then just direct Explorer to \\192.168.x.x. That should take you right to your mount point.

I'd still like to see your smb.conf file though.
