Connecting Windows 2000 advance Server and Linux samba client

 Hi friends,
I have my Serve with OS (Windows 2000 Advance Server with FTP server) and 13 red hat Linux samba client machine. They are all pinging with each other but from my Windows 2000 Advance Server I am not able to list my 13 Linux client machines on my network. Neither I am able to list my windows serve nor any Linux client from any of my Linux client. How to list my client machines on (windows 2000 Advance Server) Server and viz-var.

Please give some guidelines on authentication also.

You are going to need to setup Samba servers on each of the Linux clients to be member systems on the Windows 2000 domain. Just using the Samba client tools will not work since it's the Samba server part the participates in WINS and SMB Browser service. See the Official Samba-3 HOWTO for details on how to set all that up.
