connecting to winxp from linux.

hello,

I want to connect to my winxp computer thru linux (using ubuntu-5.10) but im not sure how can this be accomplished.

can someone point me to the right direction?

Have a look at RDP clients like
rdesktop http://www.rdesktop.org/
freenx http://freenx.berlios.de/
NX http://www.nomachine.com/

install NX from nomachine
run it
enter the IP of your XP machine
see what happens
