connecting to the internet

I am sorry to clog the list with a very newbie question, but
I can't seem to locate the answer anywhere else. I just
purchased a laptop (used) that came with Mandrake-Linux 9.0.
How or what do I use to set up an Internet connection
(dial-up) with my ISP?
Thanks,
Mrs.K

Thanks for responding Guan. I might be wrong, but I don't
think Mandrake 9 has kppp. At least I can't find it. I finally
figured out that I have to go to the Mandrake Control Center,
log in with root password and then select "Network & Internet."
From there I can select the internet configuration wizard to help me. Looks pretty simple except the laptop didn't come with the installation disks -- so I can't set-up the modem. :-(
All set-up and now where to go :-(

Oh, well, thanks for the help! I appreciate it!

Yes I did

I just ended up reloading Linux all over again. Worked like a charm. :-)
Thanks for inquiring.
