Connecting Fedora Core 1 with Windows XP


Alright before u say that the way to do this is through Samba i already know. The problem for me is that i have no way of seeing the linux computer on the windows and both computers are in the same network but cant see each otther. P.S. I go into Smb:/// and then go into my network: MSHOME and then i should be able to see the windows and the windows me. This is the scenerio

Can you post a copy of your smb.conf file and the output from:
netstat -nlp
iptables -nL
