connect to redhat Linux from unix machine
 
I want to connect to RedHat 9 linux from other Machine which has Sun Solaris 9 UNIX, but the connection is refused.
and i try to connect from the RedHat linux Machine to the UNIX, and it Success.
there is no problem in the network.

How can you advise please?

Well, have you verified that you actually have a SSH daemon running on the Red Hat box? You cannot connect to it if you're not running a service that accepts connections.

sshd

You can check to see if it's running by doing
$ ps -ef |grep sshd |grep -v grep

If you get a result that looks something* like this:
19834 ?? Is 0:00.59 /usr/sbin/sshd

Then sshd is running.

*This is actually output from a BSD machine, but on Linux it would look similar.
