Hi,

You can use minicom to talk over a serial port.
Use
Code:
minicom -s
to set it up
see
Code:
man minicom
Kind regards

Hi,

minicom can be quite complicated to setup. I suppose you are trying to set up a serial-connection from a linux-machine?
If so, try with putty. Its easier and there IS a linux version

Under *ubuntu:
Code:
sudo apt-get install putty
