confuguring postfix to use procmail for system wide mail delivery

I was trying to configure procmail to use in conjunction with postfix mail server. I created the file /etc/procmailrc file and gave the entries to filter my mails(This was working well with sendmail). For sytem wide mail delivery , I gave the entry mailbox_command = /usr/bin/procmail in the file. Postfix was reloaded. But when I send mail to the user , it is not consulting procmail for mail delivery. The same procmail file was working well with sendmail. What might have gone wrong. Please reply

Thanks in advance
