configuring NFS Client


how can we access a shared network file system from a client machine without having root previlages for that machine?

You don't have root on the server, right? (If you don't have root on the client, it won't work at all)

What error are you getting?

Run "showmount -e <servername>" to see what is exported. If you are not in the range allowed, it won't work.
