Here I have furnished the details of mrtg.cfg details and this is for the Juniper EX3300 Switch.If I run cfgmeker command it fetch all the details of the interfaces of a concer4ned switch.Find the blow details.Even I can able give index.html link to the interfaces ans its showing graphs but its the exact one its something to the real one.

The configured with VLAN 802.1q VLAN. The mrtg also have sub interfaces which I created in the switch.

The MRTG configuration only three steps
1. Configuring snmp file
2. Running cfgmaker
3. env LANG=C /usr/bin/mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg to check for error.
4. Adding crontab Entry.

In the SNMP file I added rocommunity only, I have not made any changes.I usually do only this.After configuring everything seem to be working but the graph what is showing is not the correct one. I have checked everything with all config files in linux. Hardly I could not find any fault.In the same configuring I running two others switches which are Extreme switches but that are port based MRTG.

This is just for sample.

Snmp configuration on Juniper Switch.I just enables the snmp community, Target IP address. We have not configured anything.

snmp {
community public {
authorization read-only;
}
trap-group mrtg {
categories {
authentication;
chassis;
link;
remote-operations;
routing;
startup;
rmon-alarm;
vrrp-events;
configuration;
}
targets {
192.168.180.1;
192.168.180.197;
}

Does it need any changes in the switch's snmp configuration, or in the Linux Box. I tried with google but failed to get a solution.

Thanks and Regards

Read the LQ Rules...posting the same question in multiple forums isn't a good thing. Also, saying "its little hectic" and ".Even I can able give index.html link to the interfaces ans its showing graphs but its the exact one its something to the real one." STILL tells us nothing.
