Well you are going to need to update your DNS records. But if your old DSL company was the one that was doing your DNS you might need to sign up with somebody else. Who is listed as your DNS provider? If you use the dig tool it will tell you. As an example I'll show you what it shows for my domain:

Code:
; <<>> DiG 9.2.3 <<>> jtshaw.com
;; global options: printcmd
;; Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 24154
;; flags: qr aa rd; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 1, AUTHORITY: 6, ADDITIONAL: 6

;; QUESTION SECTION:
;jtshaw.com. IN A

;; ANSWER SECTION:
jtshaw.com. 86400 IN A 128.61.104.126

;; AUTHORITY SECTION:
jtshaw.com. 259200 IN NS ns1.trustdns.net.
jtshaw.com. 259200 IN NS ns2.trustdns.net.
jtshaw.com. 259200 IN NS ns3.trustdns.net.
jtshaw.com. 259200 IN NS ns4.trustdns.net.
jtshaw.com. 259200 IN NS ns5.trustdns.net.
jtshaw.com. 259200 IN NS ns6.trustdns.net.

;; ADDITIONAL SECTION:
ns1.trustdns.net. 86400 IN A 65.57.232.167
ns2.trustdns.net. 86400 IN A 216.153.151.3
ns3.trustdns.net. 86400 IN A 65.57.232.167
ns4.trustdns.net. 86400 IN A 216.153.151.3
ns5.trustdns.net. 86400 IN A 65.57.232.167
ns6.trustdns.net. 86400 IN A 216.153.151.3

So you can see my 6 Name Serves are ns1-6.trustdns.net.

It doesn't have to be the same as your DSL provider, and if it is a good DNS service, it probably does cost money. I think I pay $6 a year for trustdns.net which has been very reliable. I am sure there are some free services as well, you can do a good search.
