Configuring DNS on Redhat 5

Hello, I have been trying to configure DNS using "bind", however i dont have a named.conf file in the vars and etc

The config files are not installed by default. Take a look here for details.
If you want them, you can copy them from /usr/share/doc/bind-9.x.x/sample/etc/ and /usr/share/doc/bind-9.x.x/sample/var/
