configuring DNS

I am setting up a network between 2 linux computers and need help figuring out how to set up DNS. I would like to name the domain to be, implement the reverse and forward lookup zones, name the email zone and have all computer names end with a -d. If anyone could help me figure this out, that would be awesome!
