configure networking with WinPcap with Topologilinux and Windows 2k

Topologilinux 6.0.0 did install on Win2k machine but I have been unable to get internet connection sharing to work with TAP. Could be the default IP address conflict with router, which can't be changed in Win2k. I have WinPcap but the HowTo's for networking don't seem to describe the files that installed by T-Linux. Google hits are minimal on this. If anyone knows of HowTo I would really appreciate it. Yes, I'm new to Linux.

Thanks much
