conferencing questions

I need to connect some 20 machines, all using the same OS, for conferencing (in a LAN initially but could be a WAN later, possibly much later). I've had a look at the info about Gnomemeeting but I'm not sure it's what we need.

What we need is mainly sharing the screen of each of those machines in turn, like having a
session sharing computer no 1 screen, then having a session sharing computer no 2 screen and so on.

We also need to have one of those machine set up as a "server" (holding main files and small applications) and the others as "clients" (able to run small applications on "server" and transfer files to "server").

If possible, I'd like to use (HTML) 'frames' for screen layout.

Is Gnomemeeting the solution or is there something else I can look at? I was considering writing an application in PHP to do the job but I'm only learning it and not sure it can do it either.

Any suggestion most appreciated.

I found VNC is the answer to my problem, not gnomemeeting.
