Compaq Presario 2200 modem setup in linux
Here's the scoop:
I have a (ancient, yes) Compaq Presario 2200 that I'm going to install feather linux on. I'm having trouble setting up the modem with linux. I know it is a winmodem, but does anyone know what kind, how I can set it up with linux, etc. This is dualboot with win98. linuxgeekery Specs below: ========= Compaq Presario 2200 -- Cyrix MediaGX 133MHz 48 MB Ram 1.5GB HD WinModem Feather Linux Dual boot win 98 Peripherals: M$ Intellimouse Optical ScrollWheel, Compaq Keyboard, HP Deskjet 820CSE |
