command for internet connection in suse 10.1

hi all...
can anyone tell me how to connect to the internet.does anyone knows the command...pls help its urgent....

How do you wish to connect... Ethernet, or wireless?

If it is Ethernet using a DHCP server;
#ifconfig eth0 up 
#dhcpcd eth0
That should work most of the time.
