client side NFS files?
Where are the NFS client side files located? thanks

I suppose you mean configuration files.
There are no special config files for NFS clients.
Your kernel needs NFS support (usually complied in) and portmap must be running (default on almost every distribution)

If you want to mount NFS shares at boottime, add an appriopriate line to /etc/fstab.

aaah ok, i thought something was fishy. I thought that when you mount the nfs server it would automatically write to the fstab. So when i checked the fstab i saw it didnt have any extra lines, and deduced that NFS client mount file must be some other one. Ap didnt know, thanks though. Now ill get around to editting my fstab. Thanks alot guys.
