Unhappy Citrix client problems

Hi there

I'm having suddenly having problems connecting to my companys Citrix-server. It used to work just fine!

When I try to connect it ends up with the following message in the browser window:

Dump start
Item = loggedin
Value= 1
Dump stop

The page making generating this message is:

default.asp

I have tried using different browsers like Firefox 0.93, Firefox 1.0 Pre1, Mozilla 1.6 and Konqueror.
I'm using Slackware 10

The only one that comes further is Konqueror wich gives me a login, but then I can't start any applications. It just prompts me like this:

Open 'https://gw.domain....MIMEExtension=.ica'?
Type: Netscape Citrix ICA Client

If I answer "Open" it just hangs there, nothing happens....
I'm wondering if an change on the server end might do this, but my Citrix-administrators just say they won't support me because I'm using Linux.

Has anyone here gotten it to work with Mozilla?

Welcome to LQ.

Why don't you install the actual linux client on the PC rather than using the web interface.

Hi David, and thanks for the quick reply

Well, I have installed the Citrix client to get the ICA-plugin - just forgot to mention it

The Citrix client is by the way version 8.0

And I can't just use the Citrix-client because my company has a challenge that I get on my mobile phone when I initially log on.
After I submit this challenge I should get to the Citrix login screen.

The problem is not getting or submitting the challenge, but the fact that I never get the login screen. The only thing I end up with is:

Dump start
Item = loggedin
Value= 1
Dump stop
