Cisco prime network

Hello

I have been trying to start "Cisco Prime Network" management softwarre client on the ubuntu 10.04.
Iced tea did not work at all. So I have downloaded the vision.jnlp file and opened it with the "java oracle 7 web start". It startet, I was also able to see the cisco splash screen but than it stopped and my pc is frozen. Do you have any ideas how to make it work?

I have downloaded the "java oracle 7" from this PPA:
http://http://www.webupd8.org/2012/0...buntu-via.html

Code:
@laptop:~$ java -version
java version "1.7.0_25"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_25-b15)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 23.25-b01, mixed mode)

I have also tried.
java 6 for ubuntu:

The link I mentioned use Elluminate application but you use Web start. Maybe you can try Elluminate to play jnlp file.

For Web start, most people use Java 6, not Java 7.
Following link is relative to Java 6 Web start.
