Cisco IT prefers which Linux distros? Fedora, Red Hate, Ubuntu...?
Good day I am beginning studies with Cisco and want to know in advance which Linux distros they focus on teaching us how to install and maintain for IT, which ones?
Fedora? Red Hat? Ubuntu? Slackware? Open Suse?

You should ask "them" whoever "they" are teaching the course?
Have a look and read of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisco_IOS

Cisco doesn't care what you use.
Cisco does have some programs for windows to use in maintaining and installing. They used to offer a cisco tftp app in windows. Most people who are really into the switch and router config still use command line. That is usually OS generic.
One some of them you may need to consider serial support to config them.
In almost every case a profit type company will made some agreement with another for profit company. So I'd assume RedHad and Suse have a bit of a leg up in some of the areas.
